This delightful young lady allowed us to share her photographs one year after surgery. This lovely gentleman, unfortunately, sustained a significant facial injury after a road traffic accident, which destroyed much of the cartilage in his nose. He underwent major nasal reconstruction under my care involving the use of his own rib and ear cartilage to completely reconstruct his nose and significantly improve his breathing. This colleague just needed to undergo surgery to improve her nasal breathing and refine their nasal tip. At seven months after surgery, she has a natural, excellent result.
This lovely patient kindly consented to sharing her postoperative results. The surgery was to reduce the dorsal hump, refine the nasal tip, and ensure no compromise to nasal breathing, as she works in the fitness industry.
Due to the nature of the skin, she had significant postoperative swelling, but at three months after surgery, she has an excellent result with a natural-looking nose and a straight nasal bridge. There’s been no compromise of breathing, and she is very happy with the beautiful result.
This patient underwent excision of a tumour from the top of the nose, septorhinoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery. This was a complex case that required reconstruction of the defect that had been left from a tumour excision in childhood.
The post-operative photos are taken 12 months later and show the dramatic change with refinement of the nasal shape and greater facial symmetry, especially the eyebrows, as well as improved nasal function.

The patient had undergone a previous septorhinoplasty, resulting in drooping of the nasal tip and difficulty breathing. I undertook a revision septorhinoplasty to lift the nasal tip, which required harvesting cartilage from the patient’s own ribs to provide support and structure for the nose.

This gentleman had extensive nasal surgery. With time, the lower third of his nose had twisted to the left and a prominent hump had developed above his nasal tip. During his revision septorhinoplasty, I found that much of his septal cartilage had been removed leaving few options for grafting material.
I was able to use cadaveric rib cartilage to completely reconstruct his nasal septum. At one-year post-operative, the patient was very grateful with the straight and strong natural appearance of his nose with exceptionally improved breathing.
This patient underwent a dorsal hump reduction and nasal tip refinement. It was important to her to retain the nose’s natural appearance.
Dorsal hump reduction to smooth the bridge of the nose is probably the most common feature we address during cosmetic rhinoplasty. When performing surgery that changes the structural support of the nose, it’s vital to maintain proper nasal function.

This patient underwent nasal surgery to correct a saddle deformity after a nasal septal abscess. A saddle deformity, also known as a boxer’s nose, is a common, serious complication of a nasal septal abscess, which is caused by the destruction of the cartilage which separates the nose.
We used rib cartilage to reconstruct the nose, correct the saddle deformity, and significantly improve nasal breathing.

This lovely patient underwent a septorhinoplasty after nasal trauma. The improved form and function of the nose after surgery resulted in her being able to breathe freely through the nose and her sleep quality improved immensely.

This lovely patient had difficulty breathing through his left nostril due to a bend in his nasal septum which also caused his nostrils to have a different sizes and shapes. Four months after I performed a septorhinoplasty, he has a more symmetrical appearance of his nostrils and can comfortably breathe through his nose.

This patient had previous nasal surgery in an attempt to improve her nasal breathing but still had significant problems with breathing through her right nostril.
I was able to perform the revision surgery through an endonasal (scarless) septorhinoplasty operation to reduce the dorsal hump, straighten her nasal septum and the external appearance of the nose. The appearance at 6 months after surgery showed significant improvement in the symmetry of the nostrils and the nose as a whole. The patient reported exceptional improvement in her nasal breathing as well!.

This young gentleman had a deviation of his nasal bones giving him the appearance of a hump when looking at the right side of his nose at a 3/4 view.
Sculpting the nasal bones to straighten this deviation with a Piezotome (ultrasonic) rhinoplasty enabled me to achieve a natural and straight appearance of the nose whilst ensuring that the nose fits with his other facial features. This delightful gentleman had cleft lip surgery and a previous rhinoplasty during childhood.
Patients with cleft lip and palate often have altered growth of the nose and rhinoplasty surgery in childhood can also impact the development of the nose. This makes cleft rhinoplasty particularly challenging. This patient had an under-projected bifid nasal tip with a pollybeak appearance.
Revision septorhinoplasty was undertaken to lengthen the nose as well as straighten and refine the nasal tip. The patient was delighted with the outcome and had photographs taken 9 months after the surgery. We thank him for permitting us to share his photographs.
This delightful patient had a deviation of his nose to his right as long as he can remember leading to trouble with breathing through the nose. This was likely due to a injury to his nose in childhood leading to the nasal structures growing in this direction until mid-facial growth was completed by the age of 16.
Septorhinoplasty operations to straighten the nose after childhood nasal trauma are especially difficult as many of the nasal structures need to be reorientated, repositioned and significantly altered in order to create a straight appearance.
